Why Should You Learn AI?
In the context of the 4th industrial revolution, AI has the
potential to yield the most significant productivity
increase in the history of our civilization. At the same
time, this fast change is likely to change the structure of
work and leave many people behind.
Saturdays.ai holds on 3 pillars:
to learn in a collaborative way, building social impact
projects, while fostering diversity in tech .
How does it work?
Our flagship program AI Saturdays lasts about 12-15 sessions
of 5h each scheduled on Saturdays so that everyone has an
opportunity to learn while building projects powered by
AI.
All our programs leverage on the best open source content
and tools, which coupled with our custom content and
methodology, sets a solid foundation with a focus on
building social impact and open source
projects. Typically our programs end with a
DemoDay, during which we celebrate what our fellows
(participants) have learnt and built.
Code 2 Learn
During the first half of the program we learn the foundations of machine-learning and deep-learning by coding exercises on GPU enabled environments in a collaborative way, assisted by facilitators and mentors
Build 2 Learn
In the second half of the program, we build end2end AI powered prototypes using what we learnt on the "code2learn" phase, working with the dataset and model of your choice, we address a real problem with AI
Demo Day
Finally, after completing the Saturdays sessions, we deliver a presentation on Demo Day where partners and the AI community celebrates your project showcase and what you have accomplished
